How Tham Sakdi Came to Be
Founded on a Straightforward Idea
Tham Sakdi was founded by practitioners who had spent years observing a pattern: clients — both local and international — were arriving at legal decisions without adequate context or preparation. Agreements were signed without a careful read. Governance structures were assembled hastily. Businesses moved into new jurisdictions without understanding the obligations they were accepting.
The name Tham Sakdi (ทำศักดิ์ดิ์) reflects the founding philosophy — to do something with dignity and proper weight. Legal counsel is not a commodity to be processed quickly; it is a service that demands careful attention to each client's specific situation.
Since opening our doors on Wireless Road in Lumpini, we have advised a range of clients — from individual entrepreneurs reviewing their first commercial contracts, to established organisations restructuring their governance frameworks ahead of expansion. In each case, the approach remains the same: listen carefully, understand fully, then advise with clarity.
